The “XLVII Super Bowl Block Party” in Hollywood California on Sunday, February 3rd
Football fans everywhere are getting excited about the first ever Super Bowl Block Party outdoors in Hollywood. The block party streams the XLVII Super Bowl game on a jumbo screen LIVE! A beer garden with private VIP Cabanas are available at the special event. Your game day food favorites like hot wings, hot dogs, veggie burgers, various world cuisines, and gourmet food trucks will all be at the party. The VIP arrival entrance will feature a huge green football field turf where various media outlets, sports bloggers, photographers, and film outlets can cover arrivals or interview various football fanatics. The event will feature live DJ sets in between commercial breaks, with a live broadcast of Beyonce Knowles’ performance at halftime, and a few surpise live performances. Official After-Party details will be announced soon. The Super Bowl block party has already had several advance orders from football fans and hopes to generate local businesses along Hollywood Boulevard with the increased foot traffic. This event is Free and open to the public.
Executive Producer for the event said, “Our goal is to do something different and unique that Hollywood hasn’t seen before. A fun outdoor event gives us more space to entertain and be fun!” Carl Edgar is the Business Manager for Moonbridge Productions and stated, “The event will bring out a fun atmosphere and excitement to the community.” This is the first annual event, however, Moonbridge Productions intends to produce the event next year at the Hollywood Bowl amplhitheatre venue with a major concert following the live broadcast of the Super Bowl. The concert would feature live performances from various Pop & Rock artists like LMFAO or Ellie Goulding. Singer, Derrick Knight will be performing live this year with his dancers and said, “I am really excited and thrilled to bring a live show to this football party in Hollywood. It’s rare that at these types of parties you have a live performance, but I’m going to do an awesome show and give a really cool live element. I want make people feel the excitement as if they were inside the stadium.”
